About Me

Hiiii, my name is Shelby! 

If you're familiar with me, you will know I was formerly known as "Shelby Starr Creations". I decided to switch things up and now "Made Moonside" is the name and here is why:

I have an almost 2 year old - during the day I am SO BUSY chasing, playing, feeding, exploring and keeping her alive and safe because WOW she craves adventure (and danger). I love this chapter of our life so much but with that being said, it also means I hardly have daytime free time to pursue my hobbies which leads me to... drumroll please... Made Moonside! Once she is asleep and our home is tidied up for the next day, a quick rest is had and I'm off to the art room creating whatever it is that begs to be created, all while the moon shines bright outside the art room window. It's during the night time where I can be not just a mama but Shelby - creating art, whether that is stained glass, marker drawings, painting, sketch booking, editing videos... it's all happening with the moon bright in the sky.

Some other random tidbits about me:

• My family and I currently reside in San Diego, California
• We have a husky named Juno and two cats named Sora and Rhea
  
• I love to read - some of my favorite books are East of Eden, The Great Alone and Pachinko
• I love playing Neopets!
